Abstract
Today, companies adopt "dynamic" business models that allow them to cope with the
globalizing trends that impact their economy, such as: real-world interconnection between
nations, much more demanding customers, high service standards, diversification of products
and technological development are among the variables involved in the sustainable development
of organizations.
This phenomenon has forced companies to focus their efforts on meeting the needs of
consumers by offering not only a product or service, but also generating value.
That is why companies are looking for strategies that allow them to stay in the market and
become more profitable every day. The client ceased to be perceived as a taxpayer who only
receives a final product and migrated to be considered as stakeholder groups, which must be
managed in a timely manner according to their classification: internal and external customer.
This has led to a re-evaluation of the general objective of companies, not only to seek the
generation of profits but also to articulate the creation of common, social and environmental
well-being, where corporate social responsibility takes relevance in the organizational context to
withstand the new changes cultural and structural aspects that are coming to the fore, as a
success case can be mentioned multinationals, who have managed to understand that thanks to
RSE can leverage their growth and actively influence the context where they develop.
