Abstract
He separation of the isthmian State over Colombia to which it was part for several decades, en the occasions in which the US execute the role of CentreState, where it was shown through the years, and constant abuses, that its general approval was reduced, getting to lose much of the control and influence that had exerted on the Panamanian territory for more than half a century. Due to the political evolution in Panama from the arrival of the military to power with the approval of other peripheral States of the region, the United States saw its dominant position threatened, and it was necessary to transmit a message that ratified its true participation in the region as a Center State, which is why it would execute the so-called "Just Cause Operation".
