The Colombian Liberal Party PLC, has been throughout the history of Colombia as an important political force, able to survive the various situations that occur in the country. However, and despite being one of the two traditional parties; In recent years there has been evidence of the loss of its protagonism and the weakening of the exercise of power in the political arena of the Capital.
Proof of this is the fact that since 1992 the PLC has not governed from the Mayor's Office of Bogotá; This is an atypical behavior compared to other cities in the country. It is for this reason, that this investigation intends to follow the electoral behavior of the Party, in the local elections of Mayor in the City; from the aforementioned year, until 2011 when the last elections were held.
