Abstract
The development of this work aims to understand and know the behavior and physical properties of a geosynthetic - asphalt mixture, evaluating its adherence from a series of tests parameterized by the INVIAS 2013 technical standards, with the use of stone material from the AGRESUR mine, located in the Municipality of Funes, having the asphalt cement from the Barrancabermeja refinery and the Geosynthetics that in the case of this investigation were FIBERGASS GRID and FORTGRID ASPHALT from Geomatrix. The results obtained in the parameters of breaking shear strength (FCR) and shear strength resistance (RFC), on the test bodies with and without geo-synthetic allow to conclude that the application of synthetic geo favors the adhesion and the reaction module on the test bodies. The above, taking into account that the lowest FCR and RFC results are on the test bodies of 250 g / m2, 350 g / m2 and 550 g / m2 without the addition of synthetic geo. On the other hand, the test bodies of 350 g / m2 with the addition of the three geophysics used had the highest values of FCR and RFC.
