Abstract
En un mercado de bienes y servicios como el actual, caracterizado por una feroz competencia entre las empresas, y conformado por clientes cada vez más exigentes, es necesario que las organizaciones no solo busquen alzarse frente a sus competidores, sino también, que busquen garantizar su sostenibilidad y perdurabilidad en el tiempo. De lo anterior, la importancia que tiene para ellas el establecer una adecuada estrategia corporativa que les permita alcanzar sus metas y maximizar los beneficios para sus stakeholders, pues, en muchas ocasiones, una empresa fracasa por no tener claramente definido componentes estratégicos esenciales como lo son la misión y la visión, es decir, el que se hace y hacia donde se va. Por ello, es pertinente formular estrategias para mejorar el desempeño y los resultados de cada una de estas áreas que, en conjunto, constituyen una sola organización. Es también necesario entender que el establecer una estrategia organizacional no es un tema aislado, sino que atraviesa de manera transversal a toda la organización, alineando cada elemento, actividad, y área, para que estas marchen al unísono, trabajando en favor de una estrategia principal.
Es necesario también entender los diferentes tipos de estrategia y en que niveles actúa (su alcance), para de este modo, exista una sinergia en la organización que lleve a la eficiencia de recursos y a la eficacia al lograr sus objetivos.
Por ello, el siguiente ensayo pretende responder la siguiente interrogante: ¿por qué la planeación estratégica organizacional es un factor determinante en el éxito y sostenibilidad de las empresas? Para ello, se examinarán los principales elementos que componen una planeación estratégica, así como sus distintas etapas y los beneficios que conllevan a las organizaciones, para posteriormente y con base en ello, argumentar y analizar su importancia para las organizaciones y finalmente, ofrecer una conclusión general.
In a market of goods and services like the current one, characterized by fierce competition among companies, and made up of increasingly demanding customers, it is necessary that organizations not only seek to rise up against their competitors, but also, that they seek to guarantee their sustainability and durability over time. From the above, the importance for them of establishing an adequate corporate strategy that allows them to achieve their goals and maximize the benefits for their stakeholders, because, in many cases, a company fails to have clearly defined essential strategic components as they are. mission and vision, that is, what is done and where it is going. Therefore, it is pertinent to formulate strategies to improve the performance and results of each of these areas that, taken together, constitute a single organization. It is also necessary to understand that the establishment of an organizational strategy is not an isolated issue, but transversally crosses the entire organization, aligning each element, activity, and area, so that they march in unison, working in favor of a main strategy .
It is also necessary to understand the different types of strategy and in what levels it acts (its scope), so that there is a synergy in the organization that leads to resource efficiency and effectiveness in achieving its objectives.
Therefore, the following essay aims to answer the following question: why is strategic organizational planning a determining factor in the success and sustainability of companies? For this, the main elements that make up a strategic planning, as well as its different stages and the benefits that entail to the organizations will be examined, for later and based on this, to argue and analyze its importance for the organizations and finally, to offer a conclusion general.
