Abstract
Esta investigación enmarca y contextualiza una serie de sucesos presentados a raíz de las actuaciones del Estado Islámico -Dáesh-, grupo terrorista que ha realizado varios atentados en el mundo, sembrando terror en muchas poblaciones y generando una gran preocupación para los Gobiernos de varios países dada la Vulnerabilidad a la que han enfrentado su propia Seguridad Nacional. La guerra civil en Siria ha sido un escenario de gran relevancia para las acciones del EI y sus acciones han generado una situación de amenaza para la Seguridad Internacional. Tanto Rusia como Estados Unidos, dos potencias relevantes en el mundo, han luchado contra el EI en Siria; Sin embargo, en medio de esta lucha por parte de ambos Estados, se ha demostrado sus propios intereses nacionales, demostrando también la rivalidad que ha existido entre ellos desde la Guerra Fría. También se analizará el papel desempeñado por un actor relevante en la lucha contra el EI, como lo es el pueblo kurdo. Finalmente, este análisis permitirá identificar los principales intereses de los Estados Unidos y Rusia en su presencia en el Medio Oriente, principalmente en la guerra civil Siria donde luchan contra el EI, buscando preservar su Seguridad Nacional y su hegemonía sobre otros Estados y actores en el Sistema Internacional.
This investigation contextualizes a series of events presented as a result of the actions of the Islamic State -Dáesh-, terrorist group that has carried out several attacks in the world sowing terror in many populations and generating great concern to the Governments of several countries given the vulnerability to the that has faced its own national security.The civil war in Syria has been a scenario of great relevance for the IS actions, and its actions generate a situation of threat to international security. Both Russia and the United States, two relevant powers in the world, have fought against IS in Syria; However, in the struggle on the part of both States, it has been shown their own national interests, also demonstrating the rivalry that has existed between them since the Cold War. It will also analyze the role played by a relevant actor in the fight against IS, such as the Kurdish people. Finally, this analysis will identify the main interests of the United States and Russia in their presence in the Middle East mainly in the Syrian civil war where they fighting against the IS, seeking to preserve its national security and its hegemony over other States and actors in the International System.
