This article aims to analyze the meaning of inclusive education in the case of an orphan disease in Bogotá. Being framed within the Biopsychosocial model, the holistic characteristic of this article takes on strength since it encompasses the process of inclusive education viewed from the global, analyzes each of its spheres and interrelates it with the emotions, experiences and meanings obtained. The objective proposes to understand the meaning of inclusive education in the case of an orphan disease seen from the Biopsychosocial model. The methodology used is qualitative with a historical-hermeneutic approach based on narratives interested in conversation, the value of intersubjectivity and linguistic communication, which allows knowing the experience of the actors involved through interviews and observations that were subsequently submitted to a categorical analysis. The results allow identifying through the analysis of the narratives that although the biopsychosocial aspects interact to legitimize a human being within a social group, in this case an educational Institution, barriers are perceived during the process of inclusive education leading to delays or suspensions that increase the degree of difficulty to access it. However, the strengthening of personal coping strategies and awareness within and outside the classroom create a positive element around a health condition with the objective of overcoming barriers, generating strengths and promoting the success of the inclusive education process.
