Abstract
This document contains a study of transport engineering with emphasis on accident and near accident of the users who travel along the cycle route that includes the section between race 11 with 100 street and race 11 with 85 street in the city of Bogotá DC ; work within which surveys and a spatial analysis were conducted in order to constitute a statistical framework from which it was possible to solve the problem of why accidents and potential accidents occur, identifying the agents involved in the event and the cause of it. When recreating various scenarios and compiling relevant information of the cyclist, alternatives are proposed to mitigate the accident rate in this area, formulating initiatives based on homologous investigations to respond to the mobility issue that disturbs bicycle users in the Colombian capital.
