Abstract
El objetivo de este artículo es categorizar cómo la ausencia de liderazgo de la alta dirección (gerencia de Recursos Humanos) influye sobre el fortalecimiento y reconocimiento de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo en una organización manufacturera de empaques de alimentos, relacionar qué tipo de liderazgo se encuentra en la organización, identificar los factores positivos y negativos en el contexto de liderazgo aplicado a la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, generar alternativas que permitan fortalecer el liderazgo y compromiso de la alta dirección con la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo. El estudio se realiza dentro de una organización de industria manufacturera, tomando como muestra 5 trabajadores, ya que en la organización no es posible realizar esta investigación. Para la determinación del estilo de liderazgo en la Gerencia de Recursos Humanos, se utilizó un cuestionario de estilos de liderazgo, los tipos de liderazgo que se evalúan con este instrumento son: Transformacional, Transaccional y Laissez Faire, con esta herramienta se obtiene el tipo de liderazgo que se presenta en esta gerencia y se generan hipótesis que se pueden validar a través de los resultados encontrados.
The objective of this article is to categorize how the absence of leadership from senior management (Human Resources management) influences the strengthening and recognition of Occupational Safety and Health in to food packaging manufactures, to relate what type of leadership is found in the organization, identify positive and negative factors in the context of leadership applied to Occupational Safety and Health, generate alternatives that can strengthen leadership and senior management commitment to Occupational Safety and Health. The study is carried out within a manufacturing industry organization, taking 5 workers as a sample, since it is not possible to carry out this research in the organization. To determine the leadership style in Human Resources Management, select a leadership style questionnaire, the types of leadership that are evaluated with this instrument are: Transformational, Transactional and Laissez Faire, with this tool the type of leadership is obtained that is presented in this management and hypotheses that can be validated through the results founded.
