The curriculum must be a fundamental tool for the formation of the University Teacher in the XXI century, in any educational system structured with a high sense of efficiency and competitiveness it is necessary that the curriculum exists, as a logical, orderly and highly guiding process, that the objectives proposed in their approaches achieve the expected results in learning, therefore it is essential that teachers actively participate in their design, implementation, permanent evaluation, that they always follow their guidelines, that they are guarantors and always preserve their strict compliance, by all those who generate teaching from all possible points of view of knowledge. When an official curriculum is created, without consensus and only with the objective of fulfilling an institutional task, the proposed results are little fulfilled, since the teacher due to ignorance (on some occasions), of what is proposed in the curriculum, is inclined towards other alternatives and personal initiatives and there its essence and the identity of university thought are lost, so in this way it is understood that the way to know a curriculum is to know it from its essence, it is by knowing it throughout its process, therefore it is essential that the teacher university be a privileged actor in its preparation.
