Abstract
A raíz de la situación actual que se está presentando a nivel mundial debido a la aparición de un nuevo virus covid-19 que afecta a los seres humanos y su propagación es muy acelerada, los cambios a nivel político, social y económico han sido muy significativos, en los cuales se ha empleado la adaptación a un nuevo estilo de vida frente a la crisis sanitaria y económica. Sin embargo el crimen organizado en América Latina no se queda atrás, dado que estas redes delictivas siempre están en estado cambiante, así mismo a pesar que también las organizaciones criminales se sintieron en riesgo frente al shock a nivel mundial de oferta y demanda, ejecutaron diversas alternativas logrando adaptarse a los mercados, creando diversas formas de delinquir con el fin de desestabilizar a los países y así demostrar cómo esta problemática a nivel mundial también afecta a nivel local, aumentando los costos y generando un incremento en la inseguridad y criminalidad en cada sociedad.
As a result of the current situation that is occurring worldwide due to the appearance of a new covid-19 virus that affects human beings and its spread is very accelerated, the changes at the political, social and economic level have been very significant. , in which adaptation to a new lifestyle has been used in the face of the health and economic crisis. However, organized crime in Latin America is not far behind, since these criminal networks are always in a changing state, likewise despite the fact that criminal organizations also felt at risk in the face of the shock at the global level of supply and demand, they executed various alternatives, managing to adapt to markets, creating various forms of crime in order to destabilize countries and thus demonstrate how this global problem affects locally, increase costs and generate an increase in insecurity and crime in each society.
