Resumen
El proyecto del Gran Canal Interoceánico en Nicaragua es un sueño centenario, que ha constituido una línea política muy fuerte en el gobierno de Daniel Ortega, cumplir con este sueño ha llevado a Nicaragua casi a comprometer el país íntegramente frente a los inversionistas del proyecto, pero no solo Nicaragua se ha visto afectada sino también países vecinos y en el caso de este ensayo Colombia que gracias a las aspiraciones expansionistas de Nicaragua ha perdido una gran porción de mar y perderá mucho más, pues si los beneficios del Gran Canal como se tiene proyectado son muchos, también sus efectos nocivos comprometen seriamente al país el proyecto para muchos es ambientalmente insostenible e internacionalmente desafiante, ahora Colombia se encuentra seriamente amenazada y las consecuencias van aumentando mediante se acerca la inminente construcción del canal.
