Abstract
Colombia has been in conflict for the past 50 years, making this, the oldest conflict in the continent. The Colombian government is on the verge of signing a peace treaty with the guerrillan forces and finally put and end to the war. The tourism sector is the economic sector that has been affected due to the war, but it could also become the most benefited one with the ending of the conflict. In this document we will analyze how other countries that were involved in internal conflicts with terrorists groups and now live in peace, are now experiencing the pros and cons in their tourism data.
